Last night three runners on the Morristown East XC team were hit by a Ford F-150

Friday evening three runners on the Morristown East cross country team in Tennessee were crossing the street, two cars had seen them and waved for the three to cross. While, the driver of the truck in the turn lane did not see them and hit all three.

The accident took placed at Cumberland Avenue and Third Street.

Drugs and alcohol are said to not be a factor.

Two runners were sent to Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare System, the other was flown to University Tennessee Medical Center.

As of right now the three are said to be doing okay, with injuries that are not life threatening.

Sending our thoughts and prayers with these guys, hoping they have a speedy recovery and get back to running soon.
