"even though I was a girl I was all ready to sign up for the football team"

So I was in eighth grade and even though I was a girl I was all ready to sign up for the boys modified football team. I was so excited Bc my love for football is so deep and last minute my mom pulled back and was like no I don't want you to get hurt so I had to choose between soccer and XC and well I suck at soccer so I chose XC. My mom told me I was gonna die...three years still kicking with my favorite sport ever. So grateful for overprotective moms
