“Slow down.” “Your going to fast.” “ You try to hard.” “Don’t push yourself” “Your slow.” “Try to keep up turtle” Comments I hate to hear, Comments that break me, Comments that make me want to give up, Comments that make me want to cry. I hate it. But I won’t let them see me cry I won’t let them see me give up I will give it my all, I will push my self just to see myself in regionals one day, I will push myself to become a better me a better runner not just any good runner one of the best runners. I will become the best of the best I will prove everyone who doubted me wrong I will show them who’s the best of the BEST! And trust me I will prove all of them wrong.

Running Sucks... Or so I thought.

Running sucks. Or so I thought. Since my dad and my older siblings ran it was pretty much expected of me to run too, so when I was I middle school I hopped on the train and oh boy was it tough. I constantly struggled and quite honestly I hated it. I was the slowest person on the girls team during cross country (granted I would still finish top 20 most races) and I even had the chance to go to the state meet but I didn’t take it because I knew that I’d probably finished around the last girl.
