Why do you push through pain?
Having a injury is one of the worst but best things that could happen to a athlete. Worst because it can set you back but best because it gives you time to think. I know it may be hard being a runner and all you want to do is run but those days or weeks or months of cross training will pay off and you will come back and kick butt. I know from my experience that sitting back watching your teammates do a workout while you cross train is one the the toughest things a runner can go through. But the injuries happen and there is nothing we can do about it but keep pushing. That time you get makes you think, it really does. Once you get back from a injury you feel like a new person. Trust me if your injured it is worth it! Don’t give up because of one little hurtle in your way because you will never make it through the race. Every runner has some bumps in the road but that’s what make us better runnings. Remember we push through the pain and the injuries for the reward and the feeling of that racers high or that finishing place or just running with teammates. That’s why I push through and so should.
