15 things my high school coach taught me.

 1. Everyone has bad days.

2. 15 minutes, you get 15 minutes, then you need to get over it and move on.

3. Trust the process

4. Junk is ok, just make sure you ate all the healthy foods you need first.

5. Treat yourself to an ice cream run every once in a while.

6. Not finishing a workout is not the end of the world.

7. It's ok to have fun the night before a meet, just be home and in bed at a decent hour.

8. Be crazy sometimes, just make sure its not illegal.

9. Push each other.

10. A bad race is just a bad race, the next will be better.

11. Spend time with your teammates outside of the sport.

12. Be excited for one another.

13. Drink lots of water.

14. Give it your all.

15. Have fun.
