We Are The Warriors.
We were coming off another 0-5 season in dual meets.
We hadn't placed higher than 6th at our league meet of 12 teams since 2006.
And then EVERYTHING changed.
It was the fall of 2016. Our team came together for our first practice in late August. A new class of freshman had arrived, and they were here to change our program forever. That fateful season, we got our first dual meet win in 2 years, and the future FINALLY looked bright.
The team practiced harder and harder and harder over the summer, looking to capitalize on our potential.
In 2017, the team took a huge leap. We tied for 3rd at our league meet, and we look to climb even higher to the top spot. The program has hope, life, and of course a great team atmosphere. For the first time in forever, in a sport they say is individual, we feel like we are apart of a team than any other sport.
Although we haven't reached our ultimate goal, and although we haven't peaked yet, make no mistake-
We have arrived.
We are the Warriors.
